What is Foundayo?
Dr Aron works with all FDA approved weight loss medications. "Foundayo (fown-DAY-oh) is a prescription medicine used with a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity to help adults with obesity, or some adults with overweight who also have weight-related medical problems, to lose excess body weight and keep the weight off."

Is Foundayo a GLP-1 weight loss medication?
Dr Aron will present you with all appropriate weight loss treatments approved by the FDA. "Foundayo is a glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonist in tablet form that should be taken orally once daily. Starting dosage is 0.8 mg, which should be increased to 2.5 mg after at least 30 days and then to 5.5 mg after another 30 days. The dosage may be increased further to 9 mg, 14.5 mg, or 17.2 mg after at least 30 days at each level based on treatment response and tolerability."

Which is better, GLP injections or pills?
